Expanding the California Film and Television Tax Credit will enable entertainment production to return to and stay in California where there is freedom to tell our stories whether you are a blockbuster film director, an indie film actor, a sitcom series writer, or a documentary filmmaker like me. Through this tax credit expansion, we will be able to maintain and build on the incredible creative community here in California. When entertainment creators have the freedom to be their full selves at work, when they have access to necessary health care services, and when they are able to work close to their families to maintain some semblance of normalcy, they are able to fully lean into their art and bestow upon the world their rich, inspiring creativity and storytelling. 🎬🌟
