@olenazelenska_official launched the foundation and I was honored to witness this historical moment - a moment of a tremendous support of the international and US community in this noble initiative. It was great to see old and new friends and familiar faces, high-level supporters of Ukraine such as hillaryclinton, Secretary of State of the United Kingdom @jamescleverly, General Manager of @metopera Peter Gelb, TV host and actor @jimmyfallon, @matt_damon_official, @brookeshields to name a few. I have to say that Ukraine is not only in war, but also in shock and recovery will be necessary and the importance of such initiatives will only grow with the time. While arming Ukraine now, it’s important to set up foundations of the fast and smooth recovery. The role of the international community is important here, but I have to say that local charities and organizations in the time of crisis are way more efficient compared to the world-known charity brands.
