Thankful today for another trip around the sun. Post pandemic, my birthdays have felt different. I used to throw big parties and fill my schedule, but now they’re a bit more quiet and used to reflect back on how I’ve grown. This last year has been full of career developments, travel experiences, and self-improvements that I’ve needed. I hit a business earnings goal that I didn’t expect to hit for another five years. I’ve seen some incredible corners of our planet that I couldn’t have imagined. Most importantly, I’m learning to have confidence in who I am. While I think we can improve a lot of things in ourselves, most of that base personality we’re born with doesn’t shift much. I think there’s peace in understanding that person and knowing how to manage your life around them. I used to hate a lot of my own traits growing up. I was always too reserved or too sensitive. Now I see those parts of myself as things to celebrate. As I get older, I’m more and more grateful for the person in the mirror. I know this whole caption has been way too long and corny but this old man has to give *some* advice to those born after That’s So Raven first aired.
