Something a little different 🦊 Last year i was able to photograph a very friendly fox cub. It was so friendly that i used a 17-40mm lens for this image. If you've ever used a wide angle lens for wildlife you'll know how close you need to be to a subject so it doesn't appear absolutely tiny in the image. What i love about using a wide angle lens is that it makes the image look more 3D, if you look at all my other images they look quite flat almost 2D. This is because i mostly use a 500mm lens which compresses the perspective. You dont get a sense of depth like you do with a wide angle. Wide angle wildlife photography is something i want to do more of but i find its incredibly difficult. Ive tried on a few subjects back last year but i quickly gave up because of how hard it was. Though i was hand holding and not using a remote setup like most others do.
