a very special project just dropped on all platforms. Ocarina Trio: Live at Model Peril Sounds :) how can i describe how much these two mean to me, and how much i miss their presence and sound on stage? over the past year, as weve played shows together, i started to learn why music is a language to be spoken with others, rather than something to be written for yourself in a journal. the emotion and dedication brought by 3 hearts instead of one in every performance never ceases to amaze me, along with the kindness we have shared with each other along the way. anyone that believes “every person for themselves” has never played with people like this. jessie and hannah, thank you for all the time and love you have put into this project with me!! ♥️ i’m playing a show tonight in bushwick tn without them, but i’m gonna try my best to channel their spirits from boston. for anyone that’s read this far, i also appreciate your energy being added to this little entry, it’s what keeps me going 🙏🏼 and i hope to see some kindred spirits at the show tonight ☺️ shoutout to the absolutely incredibly talented JEFF WANG @modelperil who recorded, mixed, mastered all the video AND sound for this project. he’s a phenomenal musician and engineer.
