I get this question almost everyday and I’m glad @jamey_heath_ asked it so that i could set the record straight on why i believe listening to women could be the greatest tool is men’s liberation. Women hold so much wisdom about men and it’s curious how quickly we get dismissed when we share those insights with them. Many of us became experts in masculinity, not out of choice, but out of necessity. And it starts early. Ask any woman about when she became an expert on men, most likely it’s when she was still a little girl. The first time I started studying men was when I was eight-years-old while a man was trying to grope on the bus, and yet that didn’t protect me when I was 14 and another grown man trapped and exposed himself to me inside a bus stop late at night. And that’s just a tiny fraction of what happened before my brain was fully formed. So yeah, women and girls know men very well. We wish we didn’t have to.
