Today I tried shooting at Rocky point and I felt like I got nothing. I finally said Damnit, just go surfing .The waves are about 5 feet Hawaiin size and beautiful I decided to grab my longboard and paddle out with about an hour and a half till dark. OMG I forgot how wonderful a really great surf can make you feel !!!!! funny I’ve been trying to manifest people to come into my life to help me take my photography to the next level, podcasts, books, speaking engagements, etc. but tonight I paddled out and I just wanted to manifest happiness. I ended up catching six waves just beautiful, long drawn out bottom turns threw in a couple soul arches just for the hell of it, and it just felt like magic. Every crappy thought I’ve been carrying with me recently just disappeared.I wanted to post this story (as I do quite often with my personal feelings )and thought what photo can I post for this? I got to the shore I stopped turned to look at the sunset and Just then somebody came up to me and asked if I minded if they took my photograph against the sunset , so funny. How many times have I done that?? It turns out it was another photographer named Josiah Selvig from @madewildcreative that was here on a job shooting the Ritz Carlton and I said sure as long as you send me one of the photos. So here it is the photo to go along with my fabulous fantastic evening session that changed my whole, damn, shitty outlook and now I’m sitting here feeling awesome as I write this I am sure as hell going to start surfing more again and so should you .🙏🙏🙏🙏
