Birthdays have always been special to me, but this one hits different. Nineteen stretched & challenged me in more ways than one. Private struggles, many questions, understanding & forgiving, life lessons, and learning how to communicate, all while giving myself grace & the space to grow. I never knew that one year could hold so much, and at times it was very ghetto (😂) , but God is faithful. He really spared my life.. carried me through it all, and placed some extraordinary people in my life to walk with me. I am not perfect, and never will be, but I have seen parts of me that I never knew existed. So, to the woman I am becoming... I’m proud of you girl! These past few years were a true testament that beautiful things are birthed from trying seasons. May my 20s be filled with more growth, love, joy, and excitement.
