Spending their summer in Seattle, Washington with @_farestart, is youth ambassador Tansy. Tansy believes that everyone should have the right to fresh, affordable, culturally appropriate food, because food is not only the building block of healthy, thriving minds, but also a major source of culture and community. "Food informs us of our heritage, our relationships, and our identities. So what kind of message does it leave when we as a nation allow millions of Americans to stay hungry - many of them being children?"
