TFW you’re standing in front of a public restroom hand dryer attempting unsuccessfully to turn it on. You wave your hands in front of it. Under it. Over it. You try a light interpretive dance. Maybe it’s voice control? “Turn on!” you shout. It doesn’t turn on. Perhaps it’s broken? Several hours pass before you realize you must press the button as we did in the olden days.
