@cosrx Advanced Snail Radiance Dual Essence (£28/80ml) NOT Cosrx snail mucin essence It claims to hydrate, plump, and brighten the skin. Texture: very lightweight and absorbs instantly without feeling sticky or tacky. Not gooey or slimy in anyway ! Packaging: sturdy plastic transparent pump bottle which makes it hygienic and easy to use. It’s also divided into 2 compartments but dispenses as one. Experience I initially bought this to be used in winter because I thought the texture would be thick enough to hydrate my skin. To my surprise it isn’t thick at all so I used it while the weather was still hot and humid. I did enjoy it when it was hot and humid and I didn’t have to pair it with other hydrators to get sufficient amount of hydration. However, now that it’s autumn 🍂 I don’t find it super hydrating on its own so I pair it with other hydrators in my routine. Due to its lightweight texture, it’s good for layering multiple times. I also like that it contains antioxidants and skin brightening ingredients such as niacinamide and glutathione. You get both hydration and brightening benefits in one bottle. To boost its brightening effect pair with other tyrosinase inhibitors such as kojic acid and tranexamic acid. It helped in the healing process of my skin barrier when it was impaired. It also helps with barrier maintenance. It’s safe to use daily both am and pm as it’s very gentle and mild! Safe for all skin types if you don’t react to niacinamide or snail 🐌 I opened mine last month and I’m almost done with it. So sad that it doesn’t last in comparison to the advanced snail 96 mucin power essence which comes in a 100ml bottle. Difference •This both hydrates and brightens but the snail mucin essence doesn’t •Finishes quickly, but the snail mucin essence lasts a long timeeee!! •Packaging is divided into 2 compartments, but the snail mucin essence isn’t divided •In terms of hydration they’re on the same level to me •this contains niacinamide and glutathione, but the snail mucin doesn’t. •This is 80ml, but thé snail mucin is 100ml •This is slightly higher in price than the snail mucin WHICH WOULD YOU GO FOR ??
