I decided to make an impromptu trip and spent this entire week in Medellín Colombia visiting my brother from another mother @shawn72mahoney ! To say it was a trip of a lifetime would be an understatement. I’m super proud of the life Shawn has created in what truly is one of the most unbelievable places I’ve ever been to. Great restaurants, tons of stuff going on and areas to shop, parks and museums to visit and perfect 75 degree weather every day, and the NICEST PEOPLE .. just beautiful energy all around. Within a week I immediately found a great group of friends, in particular @seenz who is quite definitely the coolest dude I’ve ever met, and made the entire week that more great. . I genuinely felt like I lived in a different country this last week vs visiting and got to witness a great community of people doing really wonderful stuff for young kids and just overall contributing to the culture and well being of the city. Big thanks for Shawn for staying on me to come visit and clearing his entire week to give me the memorable experience. For anyone who knows Shawn and has not visited him.. big mistake... get on it!
