Likely the most important images I’ve taken in 2022. This is the story of two beautiful women who choose to use the power of their creativity to combat adversity as it comes their way by placing their hearts and minds on things beyond the present moment. They are overcomers—never at the expense of others but for the encouragement and the inspiration of those around them. They allow their strength and beauty to edify those around them by not allowing comparison or jealousy to creep in. These are the women and artists of our future. ______ There are some thoughts I can’t express with words. God alone knows the deeper personal meaning of these images as it relates to my story; the hesitantly revisited dog-eared memories of my creative childhood that inform the man I am today.
