"I put my heart and soul into my work, and I have lost my mind in the process" We went to the immersive Van Gogh experience and you could feel the passion, the heart and soul as his most famous works painted themselves across the expansive walls, but also the sadness and pain of his life was palpable. It was cool to experience art in this unique way and to learn more about Van Goghs life, but the experience left me a bit on edge. Everlee clung to me at the start, but settled in as we made an effort to keep it light. We pretended to paint the walls with a huge sunflower that was given to us. We moved our bodies like the strokes of paint across the starry night sky, floating like the flowers, swirling like the clouds. I definitely enjoyed experiencing art in this way, but with kids, maybe a different artist would have been a better choice for us. Are you an art lover?
