August 17, 2022 - It’s been one whole year without you; the longest year of my life. I wasn’t looking forward to this day but here it is staring me in the face. Not a single brick feels like it’s been lifted off of my chest. I’m very aware of reality, but there are still days that I can’t believe you’re not here. I still have so many questions, like... what the fuck? Why you? What am I supposed to learn from this? How will I grow from this? It’s not right, it’s not fair, and I’ll never understand why our time together was cut so short. I just find new ways to cope and compartmentalize all these moments and memories. You’re in my every thought and every thing I do. I look for you everywhere. Today I’m sending the deepest vibrations of love out into the universe in hopes that you feel it too.
