While eating breakfast on one of the final days of an epic 11-day shoot earlier this month, @milst @emiliosubia and I laughed out loud while sharing our individual (terrible) experiences of cat-sitting. And I immediately thought, 1) what a great film idea and 2) who can I pitch this to? 🤔 Naturally, I texted @mmichaelson @verodelro at @smallsforcats and asked if they’d also give us complete creative freedom. They said yes, but only if we can deliver it in less than 3 weeks to time it for Halloween. Naturally, without any hesitation, we all said yes. After almost 6 years of running Mosspark, I now know wholeheartedly that underneath the creating of images and stories, there is something much deeper. To me, Mosspark is really about learning to take leaps of faith with people we admire and trust — it is through trust that we’re able to so naturally say yes to new, unknown possibilities and it is this practice of believing that I find most beautiful and meaningful in all this. @emiliosubia @milst @mmperrin @jmfilmj 🥺 Thank you for your brilliance, dedication, your giant hearts, and all of the laughters.
