How to find a sunscreen for rosacea prone skin... As someone with rosacea myself, I do prefer 100% zinc for my face, but sometimes I will opt for a chemical sunscreen, depending on the occasion. Everyone is different and there is so much more to it than a 60 second reel. If I’m going to be outdoors a lot, I always opt for 100% zinc sunscreens or mineral sunscreens. In speaking with my derm and cosmetic chemist, I discovered why so many sensitive skin types had a hard time finding sunscreens that work, just a slight change in tempature on the skin makes a difference for rosacea prone skin. Remember that heat is a trigger for rosacea flare ups. Chemical sunscreens are absorbed and physical blocks reflect.
