Not every airline is like this but I am seeing wayyyyy too much now. No matter how well you pack your board this shouldn’t happen. If UPS or fedex did this when delivering packages they would be out of business. Also why do snowboards and golf clubs fly free but surf boards cost soo much- not always a size thing. Most board bags are smaller than or same size as clubs and a snow board.
