Earlier this year I took on a job as the director of media at St Frances Academy. Little did I know, it would be the best decision I’ve ever made it my life. It was impossible to narrow down pics and videos for this post, but the people you see in this post, to everyone else, they’re some of the best football players in the nation, but to me, they’re family. I will never forget the first thing I was told when I walked in that office at SFA, “welcome to the family”. I tend to keep my personal life separate from my job and social media, as cool as my life may seem at times on Instagram, this has been a very difficult year for me. However, these kids and these coaches welcomed me in and gave me a family at a time when I needed it most, and I will ALWAYS be grateful for that, I will never forget that. Not only are they family to me, they’re people that I genuinely look up to and inspire me. Seeing the hard times these kids go through every single day, the hardships and adversity that they face, NOT ONCE have I seen this group without smiles on their faces. I admire that, and they helped bring out the best version of myself. Working with SFA has been deeper than photography and football, it’s taught me about brotherhood, and shown me a bigger purpose. To everyone in these pics and everyone at SFA, I love you, I’m grateful for you, and you are family to me FOREVER. If you ever need anything, I’m one call away. This season didn’t end how we had hoped, but the beautiful part of losing is that it gives you something to learn from. At the end of every journey, a new one begins. Last, but certainly not least.
