A seam ripper is absolutely essential tool to have in hand when working with wefts! Not only do I use it off the head to remove old stitches from wefts prior to reapp, but I also use it on the head when I need to deconstruct on the fly! Sometimes it’s hard to gauge an exact width you want to deconstruct and it’s nice to wait until a majority of the weft is sewn in place. Once it’s almost all locked in, you can accurately decide how much to deconstruct. Using a seam ripper is quick, consistent and precise!
