It goes by so fast. And just like that... my baby is 6. . I feel extra emotional this year- it just really hit me how precious time is. How kids change and grow in what feels like a blink. Last night he fell asleep hugging me on the couch and I just sat there holding him, savoring the snuggle. Marveling at how much he’s grown. Laughing to myself remembering all those times he fell asleep on me there nursing as a baby & I was stuck in that spot —phone, remote out of reach usually having to pee wanting to get up, but not wanting to wake him— now I didn’t want to move. I just wanted to hold him & hold onto time. . Happy 6th Birthday to my fun, loving, kind, smart, joyful Christian. My life changed in ways I could have never imagined the day you were born. Like I tell you every day, I’m the luckiest mom because God gave me you (& Elle!). You have taught me so much. You have grown up so much especially these past few weeks but you will always be my baby. Love the most, to the moon & back, forever and always. And now I’m 😭 again. .
