The Officine Universelle Buly in Marunouchi is in line with the retro-futuristic design desired by its creator and artistic director, Ramdane Touhami. In a space where contrasts are the rule, the brushed stainless steel panels on the ceiling play with all the contradictions displayed by imposing Regency panels in carved wood with shells and friezes crafted by our master French cabinetmaker. The oblique lines of the counters and a long longitudinal sofa provide an angular dimension to a floor made of travertine in rounded cabochons. Symbolically, the imperial-green walls are coated with a patina that sets down time, eras and masters the moment in a “tempus-fugit officinal”. Les lignes obliques des comptoirs et d’un long canapé longitudinal apportent une dimension angulaire à un sol fait de travertin en cabochons... arrondis.
