Thanks to all who attended Digital Health Week this week! The annual conference brings together researchers, clinicians, people with lived experience and policymakers to discuss new methods of managing health through the digital sphere. The Matilda Centre had six presentations across the three days of the conference, addressing different ways the digital sphere can be used to prevent and treat mental health and substance use. Topics included: ➡️ Support for families and friends of people managing substance use ➡️ Education resources for smoking and vaping, by and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people ➡️ Digital school-based vaping prevention programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people ➡️ Online recruitment for parents to improve their teen’s health ➡️ The OurFutures Vaping program ➡️ Telehealth coaching for promoting health changes in families managing socio-economic disadvantage. Congratulations also to Emily Hunter, and Stephen Knight and Tariq Isaacs for receiving Best Oral Presentation Awards for their presentations!
