Long Rose Season Oh California.... How could I ever quit you?! While your weather can have some extremes, I am so grateful for the long extended growing season that provides for us all. Roses just keep coming at the Laurel Skin Barn, often well into November! And they smell and look as vibrant as ever. Any guesses what we will be using these beauties for? I know it's just a bit early to talk holidays or winter - but these beauties are about to be ground down into the softest and finest dusting of Heirloom Rose powder for.... You guessed it: Our Honey Rose Spice Mask. I actually considered not offering Honey Rose Spice this year... but it's my favorite (ssshhh - do NOT tell the other Masks). And aside from that, our farmers continue to provide more Roses than we know what to do with.
