"As a young person with cerebral palsy, I felt extremely motivated to participate in STEPtember to not only raise funds, but challenge myself to meet my STEP goals throughout the entire month. I have been told for so long that I cannot do so many things, so I use STEPtember to demonstrate to myself that I can, while being supported by so many incredible people and educating them about cerebral palsy." Isobella was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at three years old and is STEPping up so that children have access to the knowledge, therapy, equipment, and treatments that she did not have when she was younger. "I am incredibly proud of myself and so grateful to have achieved things doctors had told my parents were impossible. I credit my parents for teaching me that physical disabilities do not define who you are and shouldn't prevent you from pursuing your dream; with two bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Human Resources, a successful corporate career, a home of my own, and a supportive fiancé, I can say I definitely am living my dream."
