This week Anthology celebrates the work of Colombian-American artist Karen Lamassonne, who currently has a major survey exhibition at Swiss Institute entitled 'Ruido / Noise,' with a week-long retro!
Lamassonne was a central figure in the male-dominated Cali and Bogotá art and film scenes of the 1970s and 80s. Initially focused on painting, her work evolved to engage with with video, photography, animation, storyboarding, and art direction.
Anthology’s series gathers a selection of films that Lamassonne worked on, including films by Luis Ospina, other key members of the Cali movement, and more.
