Last weekend we had the pleasure of being back on the Lancaster West Estate, coming together with the @natural_history_museum for a community day, in the prairie garden we created in the estate last autumn. Museum scientists joined us to deliver workshops on biodiversity, soil science and eDNA (environmental DNA.) The latter allows researchers to build up a detailed record of which species live in our environments, beyond what we can see by eye! This research can assist biodiversity discovery & nature conservation worldwide.
