Crystal Cove State Park is hosting a training for new tidepool ambassadors to help educate the public about this fragile and beloved ecosystem 🐙. . We will meet on Wednesday, October 12 from 6:30PM-8:00ish at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. . This is a multi-agency orientation which will be followed by an on-site (meaning, here at Crystal Cove State Park, date TBS) visit to see how our particular program works and see the three locations in the park where we schedule tidepool volunteers. . You will learn about: . Marine Protected Area information . Identification of intertidal organisms . How to guide visitors on a walk . How to approach and interact with visitors .
