Prioritizing my own health, happiness and peace.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Last month felt like I was floating through life. I was out and surrounded by people almost everyday and night. I forgot how to enjoy being alone. Not ready to really deal with reality so I stayed busy. And yea it helped at the time. I wanted to be distracted. Grief looks different for everyone indeed.⁣ ⁣⁣ Eventuality my body couldn’t keep up anymore. And I felt more empty and lost each day⁣ ⁣⁣ I wish I can say I’m totally fine now but everyone knows healing takes time. I’m happy to be getting back to my practices. Meditating, gratitude lists, self-affirmations and solid time alone with no distractions. I got new books, booked flights and majorly cut down on things that aren’t good for me. It’s time to slow down. I’m getting back to myself. 🤍 #healing #mentalhealthmatters
