Peggy is a wonderful character, loyal, feisty and brave... Not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. I loved the relationship between Peggy and her best friend Sally. Lovely message behind their story, no matter what best friends will always be there for each-other. Overall. Brilliant read that I'd highly recommend adding to any 9yrs + library. I read this with my daughter 8 and she adored it, it's one of those books that have a grown up feel while understanding the age range. There's definitely elements of upset ( she talks to the dead after all ) so may be something to think about for younger readers. However, this book is such an adventure. There's twists, unexpected revelations and the perfect mix of characters.
