I recently returned to @laparolacciausa located in the Bluff Heights area of Long Beach. They’re an Italian restaurant with a focus on Roman inspired cuisine—and they’re straight up amazing. I got the Ravioli al Funghi which is a mushroom ravioli. Here are the details:⁣ ⁣ Ravioli al Funghi⁣ This is house made ravioli that has been filled with mushrooms, ricotta, and mozzarella, which is then cooked in a garlic cream sauce and topped with truffle oil. The pasta has a nice toothy bite and the flavor of mushrooms is really apparent on the front. Meanwhile, the creaminess of the ricotta ties the whole experience together. ⁣ ⁣ In brief, La Parolaccia is one of my favorite spots for Italian food.
