WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON’T OVERLAP YOUR SECTIONS BY 50% The left line demonstrates blended shading when the sections overlap by 50%. The right line demonstrates un-blended shading! The new section starts at the end of each section and look like “zebra stripes.” How do we avoid zebra stripes? Pull back the start of your new section by 50% (into your previous section).
