Some of my favorite soft, quiet moments of clients, locations, coworkers, and memories from 2025. I’ve started to look back on this year as 2026 is coming around the corner and today, it finally clicked for me what this job is really all about. Historically, I completely admit, I’ve had times where I am doing this for the money to keep paying my bills and not because my heart has been 100% in it. But this year, through grinding and building and traveling and creating, my heart has changed so drastically in realizing that this job, for me, has become recognizing the urgency in capturing these small still little moments before they are just a memory. Life is so short, loss is inevitable, change happens in an instance, your little ones grow SO FAST, we age rapidly and although this concept seems obvious, it finally clicked for me on a cellular level. My heart melts a little bit looking back on this entire year and the person it’s changed me into. I have met people this year that have changed my whole world because I stopped being scared and just jumped. To those people, you know who you are and I am so thankful for you🫶🏼 I still have my scared and insecure moments but wow, this is just bitter sweet. I’ve changed as a photographer, I’ve been challenged as a videographer, and I’ve grown as a creator. I’m so grateful for the year I’ve had, and truly, this job, this life, the work I’ve done, it’s one I am happy to hang my hat on. I hope you enjoy some of these sweet, soft little BTS moments from this year as they are memories I keep in my back pocket for pick me ups. 2025 was such a good year 🥂
