We were in the fair in the midway area. It was already chaotic and very crowded, when the first altercation happened. People were running all over the place screaming, parents were scrambling to grab their kids. A group of teens who were running towards us said “these fools are shooting”. Another girl said “somebody is shooting”. I gathered Yas and the boys to get the hell out of there. As we were walking out and it seemed like things were calming down, a group of teenagers, who were walking in the opposite direction towards the midway saw somebody and started running away. One of them said “there’s that fool who was shooting”. That caused chaos again. We stopped as some ladies grabbed a little girl who was crying and separated from her parents. It was scary. I asked a police officer at the exit gate if there really was a shooting, he said no, but apparently that was just minutes before they found someone who had been shot.
