📍#Somalia: Mashallah’s life had a rough start. His mum, Dahera, was forced to uproot her family three years ago after armed groups threatened them and stole their livestock. But drought made it impossible to start from scratch. Mashallah was lethargic and showing signs of chronic wasting and stunting. Community health workers in the displacement camp where Mashallah and his family now live have referred him to a WFP-supported acute malnutrition clinic for nutritional support, where he’s been given an initial 15-day course of peanut paste and super cereal to gain weight and improve nutrition. He will be monitored until he reaches a healthy weight.❤️
