Whatever your battle is (because we all have one right?), just focus on one step at a time, and not the whole ‘staircase’. Almost 3 years ago, I stumbled across an image of this softly curved, beautiful green, steel staircase in one of @kennedy_nolan AU renovations. It got me. BAD. I knew that in our Victorian Coach house, old-meets-new, industrial-cottage mash up (yup it’s a thing 😂), this was the type of staircase that would become the heart of our home 💚 and I printed the picture out and it’s sat on my desk for almost 3 years. With Covid, planning delays, budget challenges, and all the typical stuff that comes with doing serious renovation, it’s felt like we’ve been at the very bottom step, for a VERY long time! But here we are, so close to having a staircase we can climb up, and touching distance from our dream home, that we’ve worked so flipping hard for, being an actual real life thing!!!!! SAY WHAT!!!!
