OPERATION CROSS COUNTRY: In a nationwide sweep, called “Operation Cross Country,” the FBI and other law enforcement rescued more than 200 victims of human trafficking including dozens of children. In the last two weeks, about 200 federal, state, and local agencies partnered for this operation with the goal of rescuing victims in addition to gathering intelligence, building criminal cases against traffickers, and offering victims assistance.
