The Dyson CorraleTM straightener's plates are opened and closed 400,000 times, with 1,466km of hair pulled through them. Then we drop it 4,888 times and crush it 432 times. Because it's only by testing until failure that we can understand our technology's limits and create robust machines that are built to last.
