Nikutei Futago, one of our favorite Yakiniku restaurants in the city has changed its name to Yakiniku Futago Soho Yakiniku Futago Soho offers an elevated Japanese Yakiniku experience, featuring pre-fixed menu at $85 pp, A5 Wagyu tasting menu at $280 pp, along with a la carte menu. In addition to their premium wagyu-centric menu, they just added more beef selections such as premium beef tongue, premium kalbi, premium harami, thick cut tenderloin and more. To welcome winter, they are now offering Japanese Shabu Shabu and Sukiyaki- perfect for the colder days. We had A5 Wagyu with Soy Milk Broth (tastes just like the one we had in Japan) and Tomota Broth. Both are amazing! This place also has a beautiful interior and decors with a serene zen garden. Upon entry, we feel like we were teleported to Japan. If you’re seated next to the garden, the experience will be so immersive with the sounds of the flowing water. We almost forgot we are in NYC.
