Today is officially two years since I started my bookstagram account - so here is a massive picture of my face to celebrate. (Sorry.) I can't quite believe it's been two years since I found my home in this lovely corner of the internet and I'm so unbelievably grateful that I did. I've found the last twelve months particularly difficult and I've had my share of ups and downs, but being part of the book community has helped so much. It's such a supportive place, full of wonderful people. I've met some of you at various book events and I hope to meet more of you in the future. I'm also trying to slow down a bit. Not feel as much pressure to post regularly; not request as many books (although I'm perhaps failing at this); not feel pressure to post reels, despite it being what Instagram wants me to do; not care about how many likes my posts receive (although I will continue to curse the Instagram algorithm) and to at least try and get through some of the books that have been sitting on my bookshelves for years. The intention is there at least... Gushing aside, thanks to each and every one of you for the support, laughs and, of course, countless book recommendations. (My bank account does not thank you however.)
