I have a few things to say about this tweet and more: - There is a difference between criticism and bashing. There was multiple guys on the team who made mistakes today against Cincinnati Bengals and it’s already hard enough for them to open any social media platform not only to see the negativity on their screens as it’s the internet with no expectations, but the messages/comments they receive is uncalled for. Criticizing the players and the plays the make is different than saying “cut him”, “I hate ____”, or any other comments like that I’ve seen all over the social media platforms today. Why do you think some athletes go private, turn their comments off, or even deactivate their social media whether that’s trolls or fans speaking... it shouldn’t be like that at all. We can do better than that. I will say I’ve seen a few threats floating around their comment section and that’s not okay. It’s humiliating and embarrassing to see that as “fans”. - Let me remind you guys that these athletes are HUMAN just like us. They have feelings and they don’t deserve that especially what they do for us on the field to keep us entertained/busy on Sunday’s. If you have something to say about a specific player, please think about what you are saying/typing before speaking. There’s a lot of people on the internet who think differently about “criticizing” a player like that. This is to the guys like Travis Kelce, Harrison Butker, Juan Thornhill, Joshua Williams etc. I am so sorry how the fanbase has spoken to you today based on your performances. It’s unfair. You’re all loved and appreciated. Whether you’ve been in the league for years or just starting as a rookie... mistakes are meant to be made. Yes, it’s an unfortunate loss we received, but let’s move on. It’s nowhere near the end of our season as they have more to prove. - They’re athletes. They will make mistakes like this and not only move onto the next game, but they learn from it to acknowledge what they did wrong to fix it for the next game. They’re trying at least with the efforts. - @ the “critics”: Don’t be fucking negative. Plain and simple. We can do better than that as a fanbase. Stick with our guys or don’t.
