There are losses and then there are robberies. Leslie Jordan was one of the funniest, most joyful, most universally adored actors and humans I’ve ever laid eyes on. He will be so missed. A few months after I arrived in L.A., a friend took me to a play. I was not yet versed in keeping my cool around actors I’d only known and loved through a screen, so when Leslie Jordan rounded the corner, I involuntarily gasped and said aloud, “I love you!” He looked over, said thank you, walked a few more steps, then turned back to me with his hand over his chest and said, “oh, how dear.” ♥️♥️♥️ We’ll remember you, dear Leslie.
