Sneak Peek: Opening May 7, Gisela McDaniel’s project for the Mistake Room, one of three public art projects commissioned by TMR for #ArtRise, part of #WERISE. Titled, #SakkanEkuLA, McDaniel’s installation will transform TMR’s facade into a textured painting of multiple subjects whose healing journeys serve as an inspiring vision for our future. Additionally, there is a new soundscape assembled from her collaborators’ stories that will play periodically throughout the day. This is McDaniel’s first institutional project in LA and will be on view through December 2021.
