Photo by Savannah Cummins @sav.cummins Climbers on the exposed summit ridge of Broad Peak, in Pakistan. Broad Peak is the 12th highest mountain in the world, sitting at 8,051 meters, or 26,414 feet. It is often considered one of the "easiest" 8,000-meter peaks, but "easy" and "8,000-meter" don't fit well together. Speckled with cornices, loose rock, and ice, Broad Peak's hazardous summit ridge is more than a mile long. This makes for one of the longest summit days of all the 8,000-meter peaks.
