⁠Hello, this is Rob Clayton photographer, b.1966, @clayton.rob and I am sharing with you a selection of my images from “Estate” (1991) and “Estate - Return” (2018).⁠ ⁠ "Estate" 1990/1991⁠ ⁠Moving One⁠ ⁠ A poignant image. During the project several of the larger towers were slowly being “decanted” - emptied ready for demolition. Here, two residents were moving some household items presumably to another location, another flat or storage. I remember asking if I could take their picture and they agreed. Nothing was really said, I did not want to hold them up in their task, they stopped for a matter of seconds and I thanked them and we went our separate ways. My lasting memory was of their resilience - moving was a manual task by hand and wheelbarrow. I sensed weariness, resignation.
