Ten years ago I got what I thought was just another cocktail job in New York City at this little spot called the Rose Bar in the Gramercy Park Hotel. It was pretty wild working in the most beautifully curated room in the city, draped with an endless assortment of Warhols and Basquiats. It was also pretty damn wild serving some of the artists and celebrities that stopped by—some wild stories I’ll never forget. But the glitz and glamour and cool stories can’t hold a candle to the incredible people I worked with- some of the most talented, beautiful, artistic and intelligent and supporting people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I am thankful to call them family and I love them with all of my heart. The pandemic shut the hotel down and this week everything was auctioned off—an emotional end to a time of my life I’ll never forget. While the hotel itself and everything in it gone, my memories with my Huns will always be in my heart. I love you all so fucking much!
