I had a great week in DC attending the @voterstomorrow conference and also being a part of the 60-hour-long vigil for Medicaid, recognizing its 60 year anniversary and standing firm against the recent cuts made to it through the budget reconciliation bill. I stood outside the United States Capitol and for 3 hours, at 4am, 7am, and 11pm, I read stories of Americans surviving on Medicaid. Medicaid provides needed mental health care, the issue I’m most passionate about, and medication support for millions of Americans. We can’t let it fade away. CANCEL THE CUTS!
