It is with excitement a pleasure that I make my final submission to @visslasurf #visslaaddcolor contest. I will have to make the entry in two parts though, as Instagram makes posting video and photos in the same post difficult. Firstly, I present this short film by Jordan Quellman documenting my process as I channel what became a “Caves of Lascaux” homage ( inspired by a youtube lecture of Randal Carlson on the origins of Halloween.) I speak a lot about my artistic process in this piece so I hope you have a listen to better understand my art. Different than most shapers, I use my stock boards as an opportunity to express myself most fully. While a custom needs to meet specific parameters and please a known individual, a stock board is free to be discovered by someone who will love it at first sight.
