🎄✨ Holiday Garland how-to... 🌿🏠 + My tips & tricks: I got soooo many dms wanting the garland deets. So here is how I do mine/my tips & tricks to achieving the most realistic looking faux garland! (+ all the links to shop everything mentioned, of course) 😊 1: use super cheap garland as a base to work on top of. This allows you to attach the realistic garland (as well as embellishments like ornaments/lights/etc) easier, + builds much more body underneath. 2: I like layer + mix-and-match my garland. I like using cedar, pine, and eucalyptus to achieve a more organic look. (You can also include real garland with your fake if you’d like.) The realistic style faux garland are worth investing in because you will use them year after year, and they’ll last a lifetime. 3: Use ribbon, command hooks or zip ties to attach each end, and camouflage that with stems, or picks. (You could also use bows, pinecones, ornaments, etc.) 4. I do add lights to mine. I love the look of holiday lights at night. I simply weave mine through the garland. You could use battery operated, or plug-in the lights. The lights I use have interchangeable option that offers 8 different style modes. (My favorite is “twinkle”) 5. You’re not limited to doing this on a staircase.... You can follow the same steps/tips in many ways, throughout your home!
