Remember how I said last year was the best year of my life? Well, one big reason for that is that for the first time since my brother died, I finally allowed myself the space to create. I spent my twenties constantly making art and when I lost Michael, I also lost my ability to dream. But something happened last year. Some kind of spark lit up that reminded me I still have something to say to the world. And to celebrate (and make it a bit more official) I had my friend @malik.dupree take the most beautiful headshots of me so I could redesign my website and announce that I am, in fact, still an artist. And also tease out my newest project, a screenplay dedicated to the memory of my brother and his uncanny ability to bring out the best in everyone he met (including me). So. Deep breath. Here I am.
